What is in a Lithium Rhino conversion kit?

A full conversion kit replaces a lead-acid pack with a sealed lithium battery and, on the AC kits, the motor and controller that go with it. Battery-only "simple kits" suit a cart whose drivetrain is already sound and only needs the pack swapped. Capacities here run from 105Ah to 170Ah at 48V.

Lithium vs lead-acid on a golf cart

Lithium packs hold voltage more consistently through a round, need no watering or terminal cleaning, and weigh far less than an equivalent lead-acid bank. The trade-off is a higher up-front price, which is why the range here spans a battery-only kit at $299 through to a complete AC conversion at $4,199.

Choosing the right kit

Match the kit to your cart’s make and voltage first, then to how you use it. A cart used for a round or two a week is well served by a smaller pack; daily neighbourhood driving or hilly ground justifies the larger capacity and an AC drivetrain. If you are unsure which platform you have, our golf cart guides walk through identifying your model.
