Golf carts almost universally use a 4-on-4 bolt pattern, which is why the same set fits EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and Evolution carts alike.

Plan for a lift kit

Most 14″ setups run an overall tire diameter of 22″–23″, which is more than a stock-height cart clears at full steering lock. A 3″–4″ lift kit is the usual pairing. If you are buying wheels only, confirm the tires you plan to mount will clear.

Finishes

Fourteen-inch wheels come in the widest range of finishes — matte and gloss black, machined faces, chrome, bronze and two-tone. Machined and polished faces show brake dust and road film more readily; matte finishes hide it but can be harder to clean deeply.

Lug nuts and centre caps

Check both. Many alloy wheels take a specific centre cap, and lug nut seat type varies between wheel designs.
