Golf Cart Wheels

Golf cart wheels and rims from 8″ through 15″ — 182 styles in steel and aluminium alloy from GTW, MODZ and MadJax, priced from about $15 for a basic steel wheel to $1,344 for premium sets. These are wheels sold on their own; if you want them mounted with tires and balanced, see our wheel and tire combos.

What size fits your cart?

Most golf carts leave the factory on 8″ wheels. Moving to 10″ is usually a straight swap with a standard tire. From 12″ and up, and especially at 14″ and 15″, you will normally need a lift kit so the taller tire clears the body at full lock. Golf carts almost universally use a 4-on-4 bolt pattern, which is why the same wheel fits EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha and Evolution carts alike.

Steel or alloy?

Steel wheels are the value option — strong, heavier, usually painted, and often fitted with a hubcap. Aluminium alloy wheels weigh less, resist corrosion better, and carry the machined, polished and painted finishes that give a cart its character. Lighter wheels also reduce unsprung weight, which slightly improves ride and acceleration.

Do not forget lug nuts and centre caps

New wheels frequently need different lug nuts than the ones on your cart — seat type and thread pitch vary. Many alloy wheels also take a specific centre cap. Both are inexpensive, but discovering you need them halfway through the job is the most common frustration on a wheel swap.
