Which TXT do you have?
The TXT has run for decades with several updates. Pre-2014 carts, the 2014-on Freedom TXT, and the electric versus gas versions differ in body panels, front-end components and lighting. The serial number plate — usually under the passenger-side seat or on the frame near the rear — gives you the model and year, and that is what you should match parts against.
Popular TXT upgrades
A wheel-and-tire combo is the most common first upgrade and ships mounted and balanced. A lift kit follows if you want tires taller than roughly 20″ overall diameter. Seats and covers refresh a worn interior quickly, and a light kit or windshield makes the cart usable in the evening and in poor weather.
TXT batteries and chargers
Electric TXT carts run 36V or 48V. Count the batteries to confirm — six 6-volt batteries is 36V, while six 8-volt or four 12-volt batteries is 48V. Chargers must match both the voltage and the EZGO plug style. See our voltage guide if you are unsure.
